It is obvious there is no right answer for everyone. But I believe the price of schooling is now outpacing inflation and I know it is true with college. These costs are draining the future for parents if they elect for private educations.

I don’t know how so many successful baby boomers made it without pre school? Well maybe I do, kids used to have time to go out and be kids, and play and socialize and interact with friends. And they still had time to learn and soak up knowledge, even though they could not read before kindergarten.

For my money I would want to pay the extra money for a home in some of the better public school districts through high school. I don’t have the data, but I believe these houses appreciate more in good times, and lose less value in times like we have now.

If a student has good work ethics and wants to learn, I think they can get the job done well in the top public schools we have, and those huge savings can be earning money if invested well.
